Tweaker v2.4 (and v2.5)
Tweaker customises hidden features of OSX and MacOS. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK. Read on for more information.
About - Short version
Tweaker customises hidden features of OSX and MacOS. These features already exist in OSX - this program just gives you access to more configuration.
About - Longer version
On OSX there are lots of extra options available to allow you to customise your system. These options are not available or hidden from the user by default. This program will allow you to change and tweak the behaviour of OSX to a greater extent. All the commands are reversable, and although this program has been tested, you use it at your own risk (perhaps a good idea to make a backup of everything using time machine first).
Download 32bit version Tweaker x32
(which is for Mac OS X 10.6 and lower). Download 64bit version Tweaker x64
which will work on 64bit macs, requires Mac OS X 10.7 or newer.
You can also download version 2.5 from here
(64 bit) which has partial support for Mac OS 10.14 Mojave, but has exactly the same reliability as version 2.4 with lower versions of Mac OS.
(So what I'm saying effectively, is if you find a bug with Tweaker 2.4 on Mac OS 10.13 and lower, it's probably there in Tweaker 2.5 too).
Tweaker is free.
version 2.4 - March 2018.
First public release.
version 2.5 - September 2018: Vague support for Mac OS 10.14 Mojave beta. Added option for OSX 10.10 and above to not have 'photos.app' open automatically when you insert a digital camera or media device.
Works with OSX 10.4.11 upwards. Partially tested on MacOS 10.14.
If you have any suggestions, please get in touch via email. Many thanks.
