Font-Viewer

Font-viewer is a simple program to preview and organise your font collections. It is also possible to activate and deactivate fonts with this program. Currently it supports only TTF and OTF fonts, and should run on any Debian-based version of 64-bit linux. This is a beta release, and I have a few features planned for the next version. As normal, any suggestions are welcome.

Download

Download font-viewer for 64bit Debian Linux.

Requirements

As well as needing a 64-bit Debian Linux computer to run this on, you'll also need to have 'fontimage' installed. The easiest way to install fontimage is by installing the fontforge package (and it's dependencies) with your package manager, or in a terminal using:

sudo apt-get update -y && sudo apt-get install -y fontforge

Now uncompress the archive in a folder of your choice. You might have to right-click and choose 'allow to run as a program', then you can double-click the program to run.

If you have any suggestions, please get in touch via email. Many thanks.

Tom.
