My name is Tom. I'm a freelance computer tutor, programmer and fixer of things that beep. And even some that don't. I can help you with Mac, Windows, Linux, iOS, and Android issues.
I'm local - if you live in and around North Norfolk, but I do travel a radius of about 20 miles of Swanton Morley. (So that includes as far south as Banham, as far east as Bircham Newton, north up to Wells and west out to Hoveton), so quite an area really.
I charge £35 for the first hour and then £30 per hour afterwards if I'm fixing computers or giving tuition. If it's website design and coding you require, this is more tailored to you so has to be costed depending on your requirements.
What else do I do? Here are a few examples. This can be about installing updates, letting you know about software problems that have been discovered, and best practices to prevent you being an online target for hackers.
There are many more aspects that I can help you with, but this list is what comes to mind off the top of my head.
In fact, if there is something wrong with your technology don't feel you have to put up with it. The technology you own are tools to achieve a purpose, and they should work for your purpose.
I go to a huge variety of people, of all ages and of all walks of life. It's never too late to learn something new - there's new things happening each and every week. That's not to say you need to know it all. As long as you can achieve what you want with your computer equipment, that's mission accomplished. If you choose to expand on it and take it further, that's absolutely great. This no pressure approach is what I try to provide.
