texttext Ugh, this is where it really gets messy. Underneath the chassis of the car needed to be cleaned of any rust. Treated with Trustan rust remover, coated in several good layers of Hammerite and then waxoiled throughout. This is probably one of the messiest jobs that need to be done on a classic car. It was worth doing though, as now the chassis, floor pan, under-boot and rear valance is fully protected against further corrosion.

You can also see the addition of the rear brake lines at this time with new flexi-pipe, running from under the brake servo to the rear of the car.
