text While I am on the subject of little problems which cropped up, I should mention the propshaft. The original propshaft on the MK1 capri has a sealed back to it (top left).

As we are now using a more robust back axle and diff, this gives us a problem.

On the new diff there is a bolt sticking out from the carrier plate which needs to join to the end of the propshaft. Because of this sealed plate they will not fit together.

The simplest solution is to part the joint where it hinges (top right), and replace it with the open style plate (bottom two pictures).
